When you step on the pedal the plunger comes out of the switch turning on the lights. Check the brake light switch under the dash behind the brake pedal. For reasons i have yet to discover, i can't get the right brake i checked the brake light fuse ( and i doubted it was a fuse issue any way since at least one brake light still works ), and the fuse is good.
