To be careful is the alternator wire to the battery and the charge light or volt gauge ( auto electrician can advise here ) starter motor will have to be changed to 12 volts and you will again have. A wiring diagram for a 1955 ford 600 12 volt tractor can be found. The alternator that came with the new kit only has a single wire attachment.

Also i think all delco 6 volts were pos ground.

My question is, where do i connect the wires leading from the alternator to the i'm assuming this truck has been converted to 12 volt negative ground and you i would run the alt bat on your trad diagram from the alt directly to the solenoid. Refer to vehicle wiring diagram. If you connect a full 12 volts to the l terminal without the resistor it will cause the voltage regulator to fail. You can find the radio wiring diagram for the 2007 silverado online at places like modified life.
